Drain line jobs are welcome now and then. Tip: unions at the evap pans make easy work of dropping it for service, iced up coil, drain pan heater, cleaning pan.

Hey Eric I have a question for you. I like those insulated clamps, and am going to be redoing a drain line in a freezer soon. I usually get 1 1/8” insulation for a 3/4” drain with heat tape. What size of clamps did you get and did the heat tape fit through the clamp nicely? If I get 1 1/8” ID insulation to compensate for the heat tape, Im woried the clamp will fit loose if I size it up to 1 1/8” for what is actually a 3/4” ID drain.
