Samsung Fridge Locked Display Reset

After the hard reset by unplugging the power from the outlet, i did not just solve the locked display control panel but something else too. My frig has been leaking water from the frig side. I’ve open it from the inside and found out that the drain hole was not defrosting or draining and kept freezing up and then melting creating a mess. I had to open it up ever 2 to 3 weeks to defrost it. BUT NOW THAT I HAD HARD RESET IT, the frig had been cold for 4 weeks now and no water leaks. i hope it stays that way. just thought i share a little.

The fridge looks a mess because it’s a 7 year old fridge that still have the plastic wrapp on it that’s peeling..lol

Buying a Samsung refrigerator with the ice maker in the top portion is absolutely the worst purchase I've made ever. Replaced it 3 times so far and now the control panel wants to lock up all the time. If you are dead set on buying a Samsung refrigerator I HIGHLY recommend the extended warranty. But I highly recommend not buying a Samsung refrigerator!

I followed along with what you were trying and the second freezer/fridge press brought it back to life. I had tried several combinations of buttons and unplugged it for 10 seconds before I found your video. THANKS FOR POSTING THIS!
