Yeah, I was friends with a building maint person for a big department store chain for a while, and the biggest reoccurring issue they had was keeping the refrigeration units running.

Granted, I don't work in the food industry but, I have heard horror stories about companies loosing tens of thousands of dollars in refrigerated inventory.

But, in my area of expertise (IT Computers), I do know that keeping your machines dust free inside prolongs the life of the machine much longer.

    Great Vid!

Yea we have computers to clean to, for our ordering system. The kids are always pushing them against the wall, that will burn them up if they can not exhaust properly like everything else. Cool about your expertise, maybe you can help me build a super litecoin mining rig. Have you heard about these? Checkout channel EndWorldSuckDotCom. He has some cool stuff. Check out his most current vid, you will see what I'm talking about. Hope you had a good weekend!

I have heard about the bit coin mining rigs. I haven't heard of litecoin, I can certainly (try) to help you build a pc, the last pc I built was about 4 years back.

I will checkout that guys channel tomorrie.

Same principle, obviously a different currency and maybe a slightly different mining process. Actually they have these ASIC's now they just plug into a USB. I wonder what kind of computer do I need to run those, he has them in his video. So tell me what you think.

  5. Nate says:

It looks like he is just using a standard computer or apple computer with those ASIC miners, apparently all the work is being done with the ASIC thing (from what I understand)

It looks like in one of his vids he had a USB expander so he had more of them plugged in.

So, I guess I don't have 100% certainty but those ASIC USB things just seem to run on a normal pc.

What probably happened was the plastic bag on the condenser caused the refrig temp to run warm and someone probably crankes the temperature control colder thus icing up the evaporator coil. Very good advice about cleaning the condenser. Most restaurants have CO2 tanks, you can ask your refrigeration man to get a brass fitting and a hose for the CO2 tank, then you can clean condensers and drains.

  7. chazzman1900 says:

Ok a stopped up condenser will not cause your evaporator to freeze up ? The system would do just the opposite your evaporator would not be cooling because your not sub cooling the refrigerant coming out of the condenser thus Sending hot gas to the evaporator . Yes you did clean it before an issue accrued but still you have a second issue . You have a defrost heater out ? or your defrost clock has a bad timer And will not cycle into a defrost cycle Causing the icing problem . If your inside coils keeps freezing up the(Evaporator) using a shop vac will not cure a coil that keeps freezing up DVMG-5896

My fridge was making ice at the rear and I turned it down to defrost . After it al melted , turned it back up and cleaned the dusted coils with vacuum cleaner and now it’s not cooling . Any suggestions ?
