    Part # 4201290 Sub Zero Refrigerator Drain Heater Kit will stop the ice buildup in the refrigerator. My 550's drain was frozen so the water found other ways out. It destroyed the floor and covered the sides and back wall with purple mold.

    This kit you installed is for the freezer drain that freezes up, not the fridge. The fridge side uses a 4201290 kit. The fridge drain DOES NOT go down to the freezer drain. The kit you installed will do nothing to help with the fridge side. I have been working on SUBZERO exclusively for 10 years and have installed many of both heaters. While your intentions are good, your info is incorrect.
