This one was a service call on a walk in freezer that had too much ice around the door frame. I ended up replacing the door heater, track, hinges, closure, and gasket.

You do really good work. I want to thank you for taking time to make these videos. My average ticket price has dramatically increased from repairing the whole system, versus only the problem that was called about.

Hey Chris. I just watched this video again today. I diagnosed a bad 3-side door heater and door closer today. It had ice all around the door but not the threshold. Anything else that you think I should have looked at?

The hinges looked good. Once I cleaned all of the ice off, the door would close again, but the closer wouldn’t get it completely closed every time which is why I will be replacing that.

Because of this video, I knew exactly what to look for when I received the call. Thanks.

Question..i check the operation of a walk in freezer and its rated for 145watts max and it is producing only 114watts (126vac) where is my other. 31 watts? I can only assume the resistance can only produce 114w( new heater is only producing 114w as well. Thanks for your videos.
