Checked walk in freezer and found a bad run capacitor for the condenser fan motor. Replaced the capacitor, 30 minutes later the condenser fan motor was slowing down. Had to replace the condenser fan motor.

    not often you can get by with just a cap on fan/blower motors, much of the time the bearings have gone and it runs slow/hot, which helps cook the capacitor, or vice versa, capacitor failing makes it run slow/hot and killed the bearings. the old "catch 22" issue πŸ™‚
    hvac compressors and direct liquid cooled things with remote mounted caps are more forgiving, but still a gamble.

    Hey brotha I only do hvac I want to learn walk in coolers and freezers can U make videos of how they work and refrigerant circuit and operation like maybe drawn or something. U are great man hands down the best
